1- WASH DELUXE
All of our washes are done by hand (hard chemical and acid free).
We merely use organic remedies and supermarket-safe products. We
assure you a cleaning that is safe for the fiber and color.
WASH DELUXE # 1 This is a cleaning designated for solid rugs
that appear to contain deep dust sediment and deposit. (Rugs cleaned
within previous five years)
WASH DELUXE # 2 This is a cleaning designed for rugs with
a dirty surface and a significant amount of dust deposit. (Rugs
cleaned within previous ten years)
WASH DELUXE # 3 - This is our most effective and powerful wash in
which we precisely clean antique rugs and rugs with a heavy 5th
layer of dust deposit sitting at the bottom of the of the pile (
Old dirt 30 -100 years old). This is a process intended to
clean delicate and old rugs that require precision and care. This
procedure breaks the 5th dust layer and then removes it rejuvenating
an old rug returning its freshness and fluffiness.
2- SILK WASH
This is an extremely wary and delicate wash, deliberately designed
for partial, or %100 silk rugs (old or new). The wash may be applied
dry or wet, dependent on our decision on how to approach rugs in
different states.
3- ANTIQUE WASH
This is a deep process in which we tone down colors in 3-shade applications
and give your rug a warm antique appearance. The three available
applications are:
A) Golden Oak
B) Walnut
C) Mahogany

into soft tones.

(according to the rugs dye structure). This process is applied to
any specific area or a whole rug.

Through age and poor maintenance some rugs tend to become stiff
and in result break when bent. At ORH, we apply organic baths that
soften and return those rugs to their original state.
7- TOUCH UPS
These are jobs done on old rugs subsequent to cleaning. White knots
begin to make a strong impression on areas that are worn out and
appear to have visible thread. We touch up on these areas with proper
dye made for each area and in result give the design a uniform appearance.
8- DYING
This is a process that we use to replace dyes that have faded in
different areas or entire rugs. We use particular dyes designed
for rugs.

moth damage (which could be extremely harmful when not detected).
The process is applied deep in the rug and acts as a moth repellent
for several years.

it from stain penetrations. The application acts more effectively

In this process, old and tattered fringes are removed in an orderly
fashion and later replaced line by line amid new hand woven fringes
that match the exact style of the rugs original fringes.
13- BINDING EDGES
Through this method the unraveled ends of a rug are removed and
replaced by new binding (all done by hand). The process is in accordance
to the type of rug itself ($20-$50 P.R.F) with the matching colors
and styles of its original binding. This hardens and strengthens
the rug edges.
14- OVER CASTING
This is a procedure in which the dilapidated ends of a rug are locked
up by stitching, to prevent the loss of knots and opening of weaves.

to spend money on an entire reweaving process, we offer this option
as an excellent solution. This is a method in which we piece the
missing area with a piece from an identical rug, giving it a magnificent
and perfect appearance.
19- PILE IMPLANTING
In a situation where the pile in a rug has deteriorated yet the
warp and weft are in tact, we will reweave that area with fresh
yarn and in result create a new and healthy pile for the rug. (Usually

base is still in place)

former stain.

Intractable animal stains will not be extracted from a rug by means

backside of a rug is professionally detached in a safe manner thus

stitched together to preserve and prevent the rug from further opening
or unraveling.

the fiber from a damaged area in a rug and contrast it with a piece
of healthy fiber on that same rug. After examining the divergence
